Non Smoker

My good friend Kevin asked me to pose as his model for his homework in his Photojourn class. The assignment was to do portrait shots of one specific emotion. Originality is a big must so we decided to go for ~apathy~ (sounds deep eh?) 

After brainstorming for a good concept on the shoot, we decided that I would be smoking in this shoot to add to the drama, plus the  smoke really adds emotions to the whole—-erm—hulabaloo.hehe.

I DON’T SMOKE. AND I DON’T LIKE SMOKING. But, for the sake of a good ‘authentic’ shoot—I decided to smoke (just for that time!). Ugh. We bought some cigs at 7/11 (oooh badass, oh well we’re old enough naman eh.

So before the shoot I Googled some images on ‘smoking’ and ‘portraits’ and this popped out:

Joni Mitchell!  I wanted to re-create this beautiful album cover of her..so that’s exactly (sort of) what we did.

yeee! so excited for the pictures even though I smoked infinite numbers of cigarettes tonight just to get the right shot. EXCITED!
